Amaretti Virginia - Crunchy Amaretti Box (150g)

Virginia is a historic brand founded in 1860, synonymous with quality and refinement in the art of confectionery. Having become famous for the production of soft Amaretti, today it also boasts a wide range of exquisite and elegant specialities. The bakery that once produced these delicious Amaretti soon became a meeting place for locals and visitors alike, so much so that the square it overlooked was referred to in postcards of the time as 'Piazza degli Amaretti Virginia'. Fragrant, with a consistent and soft almond texture, Amaretti Virginia were soon appreciated even among the glories of the most important International Expositions. Among the most authoritative: the award ceremony at the 1892 Colombiadi in Genoa with diplomas and first-class medals, and the prestigious award in Paris in 1911 with a gold medal and special distinction, where the delicate Virginia flavours won over a very select jury. These and other medals and diplomas obtained at International Expositions of the time (Arcachon 1897, Turin 1898, Genoa 1903 etc.) are currently kept in the Company's historical archives. Since then, attempts at imitation were numerous, so much so that back in 1897, the Founder had the Virginia Brand placed under the protection of the laws of the Kingdom of Italy.
