Delivery Information
We use DPD Local for deliveries so you always get your products in great condition on your chosen delivery day and you will receive updates on your delivery throughout the process.
Better still, if your order includes a hamper, we will deliver for free.
Deliveries are normally made Monday to Saturday, excluding national and bank holidays.
Parcels and hampers are hand-prepared at our family shop in Wokingham to reach you on the day requested.
During 2022, 100% of our deliveries have been made on the requested day.
Very occasionally, deliveries may be made on the day before or the day after your chosen date. We do everything we can to avoid this but some things are outside of our control and it is possible that the delivery date may be missed. If your order is required for a special occasion or date, we suggest your request delivery the day before, to allow for any unforeseen events or failed delivery.
If your delivery is to a remote or difficult area please contact us so we can check delivery arrangements with our couriers.
Hampers and gifts are often bought as a surprise so there may be no liaison with the recipient. If the recipient is not home when we try to deliver the driver may attempt to deliver the parcel to a neighbour or leave in a safe place (where it is appropriate and safe to do so). If not, then the gift will be taken to the nearest local depot. Whatever happens, they will receive a card through the door to let them know they missed a parcel and tell them where it is.
If delivery is not completed we will contact you to decide upon the best course of action to take.
We are happy to deliver to work places, hospitals, hotels, universities, military bases and other venues but these addresses typically only receive parcels to their Goods In area or reception. Whilst we cannot be held responsible for any delays from Goods In to the recipient, if you let us know we can clearly label the parcel as 'IMPORTANT' or 'URGENT'. If you are sending to a hospital please be sure to include the ward name and number and department if you have it.
If you are able to provide the mobile number of the recipient, this would really help if the driver does have any delivery problems.
Please note that due to the impact of Coronavirus COVID-19, deliveries to some areas may be delayed. We thank you for your understanding.
Finally, please contact us with any questions you have.
